Art as Analogy Scholarship Program
WHAT WE DO
Wilder Minds Art as Analogy Scholarship Program is a cloud-based learning initiative for high school Juniors and Seniors. This virtual learning platform has educational activities, and upon completion, participants are given points that turn into scholarship dollars. Activities teach students professional practices and further enhance their knowledge of art. Activities vary from attending artists talks to creating an artist statement. The hope is that students will engage with their communities in new ways, while learning invaluable art education on our virtual platform.
HOW WE DO IT
Art as Analogy Scholarship Program operates 100% online as a virtual learning experience. All education is taught through exclusive lesson plans, video demos, and virtual teacher feedback. Wilder Minds relies on our community for funding and donations. We also work directly with art colleges and programs to secure scholarship funds for our participants. Some art colleges commit funds for students to attend their schools.

WHY WE DO IT
WM believes that our scholarship program will help get students prepared for college and a career in the arts by teaching invaluable professional practices and exposure. Art is vital to success! In fact, low-income students who are highly engaged in the arts are twice as likely to graduate college as their peers with no arts education.
